Amsterdam

Well I'm still in Amsterdam. I didn't think I was gonna stay here this long, but this place is pretty amazing! So much stuff to do! Also met a lot of fun people. Like these people that call themselves 'my parents', they know all kinds of detailed stuff about me. And just with a lot of people around here I get the feeling like I've known them for a long time, must be a Dutch thing.

The thing to do here is play beach volleyball apparently, so that's what I keep doing. It's quite fun, but very tiring. I'm not very good at it, but I'm getting better every time. It's weird, cuz you can play with guys and girls in one team!

So yeah I was gonna travel on, but someone told me about this thing called 'work'. Supposedly it makes you money instead of costing it, weird huh? So I signed up for this one establishment that offers people this 'work' thing. The one I picked is apparently a 'consultancy firm'.. I couldn't find it in the Lonely planet guide, but the people seem really nice.

Still doing a lot of meditation and general mindfulness. Sometimes I seem to really believe that there is an end to the rounds of thought / patterns / suffering, etc.

Didn't meet too many girls lately, but I'll go and scope out the ngiht life tonight.

Not sure where I'll go next, I'm thinking either the states for an extensive training program (I heard this was an option through this consultancy thing) and otherwise probably India in about 3 years with Mark and perhaps Jen?
